About Us

David Aikins started in the timber flooring industry in 1983.

DJA Company Pty Ltd trading as Flooring Concepts was registered in 1994. Since then the business has grown and now employs specialists in the Timber Flooring Trade, with trade experience from 20-50 years.

David's expertise & vast knowledge led him with 4 other industry experts to establish Wood Flooring Association in 1992, a state body for the timber flooring industry. David was also on the National Wood Flooring Association for many years and now sits on the board of the FCIA (Floor Covering Institute of Australia).
